Hi,
how can I restore files from a linux file level backup.
The server is a CentOS7 machine, veeam backup and replication is installed on a windows machine.
The restore wizzard asks every time for a ESXi machine. But I don´t have a ESXi machine.
Is it possible to restore files without a ESXi server?

I guess you have backed up the Linux Server with the Veeam Agent for Linux? If this is the case please have a look here: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... _file.html

Re: Restore files from linux file level backup without ESXi
I´m not shure what Veeam Backup & Replication did. When I create the job I select "managed by backup server", the wizzard ask me for a ssh port, user and password.
So I didn´t install any agent manually.

The agent is then present on the Server. Please check this one: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/agent ... tml?ver=40
