Selecting StoreOnce as a backup repository for Windows backup

Post by armmon »

We're trying to create a VEEAM backup job for a physical windows host in our lab.

We have created VEEAM backup jobs for VM's in our lab, and were able to select our StoreOnce as the backup repository, which we had previously added to our VEEAM config.

When we try to create a windows backup job, our only option when selecting Backup Repository is "Default Backup Repository" which is created by VEEAM Backup (and only has about 20GB free on the VM that we're running VEEAM on) ... our StoreOnce does not appear in the list?

How can we configure VEEAM so that we can select our StoreOnce as the backup repository when we're creating a VEEAM backup job of one of our physical windows hosts?

We appreciate any help anyone can lend - Thanks!

Hello Armand,

HPE StoreOnce repository was supported by agent backup jobs in the latest release. Can you please confirm if you are running Veeam B&R v10 and Veeam Agent for Windows v4. Thank you!

Thank You ! We were running VEEAM 9.5 and upgraded to VEEAM 10 today ... lo and behold, we were able to select our StoreOnce 6600 as the backup repository for our VEEAM windows agent backup job ... Thanks !
