Hello everyone,
We back up our production machines using the Protection Group function into a repository. This group includes around 45 clients, of which 4 consume a substantial amount of storage space. For all clients, we apply the Grandfather-Father-Son backup strategy (4 weeks, 12 months, 10 years).
However, we now need to delete specific monthly backups for these 4 clients (preferably older ones) to free up more storage space.
According to the Veeam Help Center, it seems that I can only delete the entire client backup, but I’d prefer to remove individual months only.
Do I have to do this manually? I recall that doing so previously led to significant issues, with corrupted metadata that rendered all backups unusable.
Any advice on the best way to proceed would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Re: Selective Monthly Backup Deletion for High-Storage Clients
The topic can be closed, I found instructions
Manually copy the .vbk file somewhere else, rescan the repository, click on the respective backup under Disk and select Properties, delete all unavailable backups
