Good morning,
Starting around 9 pm each night, these Windows Agent Policy jobs are running and I don't know why. When I look in the history section of VBR, under Agent backups, I can see under Session Type it shows Windows Agent Policy. Some of these jobs that are running are for laptops that are not turned on at night, so these jobs fail with "Failed to apply backup job configuration". I don't know where I would have configured VBR to send a backup job configuration to these laptops at night. The actual backup job for these laptops run during the day, between 9 am and 4 pm.
Any help would be appreciated.

Please check your protection group rescan settings.
Normally policies gets applied when a protection group rescan is running, except for agents in the protection group type „pre-installed Veeam Agents“.

Ah, I see that now. Inventory - Physical Infrastructure - right-click the section in question - Properties - Options.
