trouble adding a computer to protection group
I've added a windows server to a protection group without problem.
For information: I have installed Veeam B&R at a stand alone computer, called PC_VRP.
I try to add PC_VRP to a protection group. All steps go well, inclusive the step 'Test credentials'.
But when a rescan is performed, I get an error 'Cannot connect to PC_VRP'. Failed to logon user.
I've already tried all possible account setting I can think of.
PC_VRP\username or only username or PC_VRP\Admininstrator...
My goal is to add PC_VRP an to perform full backup of PC_VRP for BMR if needed.
What can be the cause of my problem? What can I check or do further?

It seems like there are no logs attached to the case and it will be quite hard to find the root without those.
Since its a server side that fails to deploy an agent, you can start by collecting only VBR logs via Log Export wizard or from C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Backup\ and attach them to the case.

OK, I've added the log that was generated with a new attempt to add the computer.

Hi Johan,
Try to add machine either via IP address or by typing in localhost. As for the user account you can use .\administrator and the machines admin local password. Please make sure this credentials actually work. Thanks!
