Veeam B&R 9.5 update 4 9.5.4.2615 Agent for Windows 3.0.2.1170

Running on a Windows Server 2016 i'm trying to backup the server itself to it's second disk D:\ i'm using volume backup, setup the backup job throught B&R it fails with

9/27/2019 8:47:50 AM :: Failed to start backup job Error: Unknown invoker method: 2757, cannot find any reference to invoker 2757 anywhere, please advise.

i'm having the same error when i try to backup to a Samba share, using CIFS is OK

The Solution was after support hinted that a previous update might have gone wrong.

before i posted below to support i already tried to uninstall all veeam related programs, also deleted Veeam registry entries and deleted the Veeam SQL database, then reinstall, same effect, what is listed in the control panel Programs and Features

only above seems strange, since on other servers i have more, like backup transport, installer service, vPowerNFS, Mount service, distribution service

when i look at the running services i see

Thanks for sharing the updates and glad to hear that you are up and running. Mind me asking if the agent in the question was installed on top of Veeam B&R server of that was different machine? Cheers!

I have the same issue except that a different server is the one that is failing to backup. I have B&R as the main server and installed Veeam Windows agent on another server. The job is supposed to do a backup job of the server with the agent installed. I also created a case for this. # 03801095
