Hi,
Ive been googling to find the best way to use Veeam B&R 9.5u3 hosted in Azure but backup from on prem ESXI?? I got the basics setup, but just wondering how to go about doing the backups now. Its just its going to be a WAN backup and i only have 20meg to play with upload, am i right to think id be best using WAN accelerators??
If anyone else has done this or has any ideas pls reply.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Veeam B&R 9.5u3 hosted in Azure??
i would place an Proxy/repository/Guest Interaction Proxy/Console Server on premises and select as well an Mount Server for this Repository on Premisses. You can install all this from the Backup and Replication Server.
Then create a Repository within Azure and install WAN accelerators on both sides.
Use a Backup Copy Job to upload data to the cloud (select the WAN accelerators).
That way you have fast backup/restore on premisses and secondary backups in the cloud.
