I have been introduced into an environment with 2 existing Synology NAS devices that host windows virtual servers. I would like to image the VM's and if possible, image the Synology Hosts. I do not want to back up to them but create backups of them.
Thanks,
Scott

Re: Veeam Back of Synology NAS Host and VMS
Hi Scott
From our side, you have to use our Veeam Agent for Windows to backup this VMs. The agents must be installed inside the windows VMs. But you can‘t „image the synology hosts“.

If you use a VBR server together with the Veeam Agents, you can use the backups to restore the Synology Vms to another solution (vSphere, HyperV, Nutanix or Cloud).
