Veeam Recovery Media Boots to Black Screen

Trying to test backup/restore of an individual PC. Followed the steps in the v10 documentation to create the ISO: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100
I used YUMI to create the boot media from an ISO. (I use YUMI a lot so I dont think it is a configuration issue with YUMI)
But when it boots the ISO it just sits on a blank screen. no cursor or anything. Any thoughts?

To avoid any third-party issues can you please try to boot the mentioned iso to a blank vm to see if it works? Cheers!

It works fine as a VM. Only seems to be an issue with the recovery media.

The ISO boots fine to a blank VM. Do you have any recommendations for getting the ISO to boot on a computer? I have tried burning to a CD and using multiple programs to create a USB with no success.

I created the recovery media ISO from our Veeam server running Windows server 2016. It is a VM so I am using my laptop (Windows 10 pro) to burn the ISO to CD and USB.

Recovery Media for Windows is created from the full backup of the machine's operating system. Can you please clarify the OS version of the machine in the backup? Thanks!

If recovery media works correctly from an ISO to a VM, then looks like the issue is related to the third-party tool. If possible please raise a support case via Veeam Agent UI and share the case ID with us. Cheers!

Is there a supported tool for putting the recovery ISO onto a USB drive?

Veeam Recovery Media creation wizard can create a bootable USB stick straight away without .iso creation as a mid-step.
For .iso to USB, I use free and open-source Rufus which never failed me so far.

Here is how i finally got it to work: I downloaded and installed the Veeam Backup and Replication software to my laptop. (Our Veeam server is a VM so I could not attach a USB stick directly to it.) Once installed, I connected it to our Veeam server and created the recovery media directly to the USB stick from the application on my laptop. It booted and performed a successful restore.

What didn't work: Creating the ISO and using Rufus, YUMI, Windows USB creator, burning to a CD.
