Hi,
I created a protection group "Domain Controllers" with only one single server (for testing) and the job gave the warning: "Noting to process".
Sadly I have no more informations.
I had looked in the EventLog-> Veeam backup
Agent Backup job 'Test (DC) Agent Backup' finished with Warning.
Job details: Nothing to process
I couldn't find any other log with "Nothing to process"
Than I created the same job with the same server as "individual computer" and the job is working properly.
I can't understand this behaviour.

Re: Why VB&R works with individual computer and not works with protection group
Hello,
you looked in the Windows Eventlog? I recommend the Veeam built-in history (last 24h in home or the small history icon)
Which versions are you using? Are you using jobs "managed by server" or "managed by agent"?
There are some other posts with that issue on the forums. E.g. this one post326466.html?hilit=Nothing%20to%20process#p326466 - I guess contacting support is the way to go. Please post the case number here for reference
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Why VB&R works with individual computer and not works with protection group
Hello
yes, the message came from Windows Evntlog: -> Veeam backup
I am using jobs managed by server with VeeamBackup&Replication_9.5.4.2753.Update4a.iso Community Edition.
I read the related post, but that is not my problem. My problem is, that I don't know where the veam log is located with a more detailed error message.
Thanks

Re: Why VB&R works with individual computer and not works with protection group
Any chance this server sits on vm? If yes - please make sure that Exclude all virtual machines option is the protection group setting is unchecked. Cheers!"Domain Controllers" with only one single server (for testing) and the job gave the warning: "Noting to process".
