2 independent backups stored on 2 different tape drives

Hi all,

I have a job to backup files to disk. and 1 tape device.
How to save 1 backup job into 2 independent backups stored on 2 different tape drives at the same time, please help me. Thanks !

Just to confirm, you have a single tape drive or multiple tape drives? Just you mention 1 tape device and then ask about storing the backup onto two different tape drives, so want to ensure I have your understanding correctly.

There are a few ways to to this with one tape drive. Easiest is just configure two Backup to Tape jobs with the same source jobs added, two media pools with separate tapes, and just run the tape jobs at different times/days. That will achieve the desired results.
