Accidenlty Export tape

Post by ian.h »

Howdy

I accidently exported a tape 0000506L install of 0000056L.

I ejected the magazine to remove the correctly exported tapes and left 0000506L in there, however it errors when doing Tape Infrastructure -> Import like I normally do when replacing tapes and the tape is in the offline container.

How do I re-import back to how it was before?

Thanks

Hello ian

try performing a rescan by right clicking on the library name and click rescan, it should go back online then retry to import the tape and let me know if it worked

Thanks for the suggestion Mohamed,

I've tried doing an inventory and scan and the tape still says offline.

When I right click the tape, I can import into the other groups, but not the one it came from

Hello Ian,

Try to follow the steps explained in the Loading Tapes Written on This Backup Server article and if does not work as described, please, open a support case. Cheers!
