I'm Veeam 9.5 update 3 and have run a few backups to tape. I'm using Lt08 media on a HP StoreEver 8 cartridge multi loader. None of my tapes had any labels and now I want to add a bar code labels to the few tapes I have.
Currently Veeam recognises them as "Tape 1", "Tape 2" and "Tape 3". Is there any issue with adding a barcode label to these tapes. Will I still be able to read and restore the data on the tapes?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Adding barcode labels to previously written GFS tapes
Hello,
Yes, you can do it, but you may need to perform an inventory/catalog of the tape after changing it.
