Backup job asking for another tape

Hi,

I'm running a backup job and total size is 14.9TB. For some reason it doesn't want to fit onto 7x2.4TB tapes...

We're backing VM's to disk and then offloading to tapes.

Any reason why it's happening?

I'm wondering whether there is no file in the backup chain exceeding the 2.4 TB limit. Also, be aware that typically a tape is not completed filled and there is always some space reserved by drive/library manufacturer. Thanks.

There are files bigger than 2.4TB
It left 1.8TB free space on one of the tapes and asked for another one...
