Hello,
is it possible to know which sessions of a backup are contained on a tape?
I can know which tape a backup has used but I cannot know which backups a tape contains.
Is there any way to know?
Thanks
Alberto

Re: backup session contained on a tape
Hello,
and welcome to the forums.
I'm not sure I fully understood your question, but I try to answer where you can find some information
1) in the history view https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
2) in the files view (if you use file-to-tape backup jobs) https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ew&ver=110
3) in the "backups on tape" VeeamONE report https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/one/r ... ml?ver=110
Does any of that help? If not, can you maybe explain a little bit more, what you try to achieve and whether you use backup to tape or file to tape jobs.
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: backup session contained on a tape
Hello Hannes,
thank you very much for the replies.
The third example is what I would like but I see it is available with "Veeam one".
Is it possible to achieve the same result with "Veeam Backup & Replication"?
Thanks
Alberto

Re: backup session contained on a tape
Alberto,
1. You can right click the tape media to see the tape media content to see the backup files stored on the particular tape.
2. You can right click backup to tape job and select 'Report' option. This would show you the html report related to specific backup job run.
Thanks!
