Hi Guys,
I have a question;
Due to a sensitive nature I have 4 folders on a server that the tape backup service cannot access.
The reason for this is that the folders dont have local administrator access.
Now is there a away of setting up the agent credentials to use the 'local system account' not 'System Administrator'.
At least this way the agent would have access to the folders.
The last backup agent (Yosmite Backup) had a service account that allowed it to successfully backup those folders.
I cannot see how this is possible using the setup process.
Any help would be great.
Many thanks
TIM

Re: Changing the Service Account for Tape Agent
Hello,
what do you mean with "tape agent"? I guess you are talking about file-to-tape jobs?
Per default, all Veeam Backup & Replication services run as "local system account". You can change them in services.msc
But I don't believe that this solves your problem. The solution described here should do the job
Best regards,
Hannes
