Cleaning tape in unrecognized media pool

Hi folks

If I created a media pool for my cleaning tapes, would automatic cleaning still work as long as tape is online?
I really don't like to keep my cleaning tape under "unrecognized" pool, because every time I want to mass import new tapes for GFS I have to CTRL+Click the cleaning tape to deselect it.
Apart from that minor nuisance it just doesn't fit in "Unrecognized" pool, cmon I can't be the only one

I haven't done it yet because according to documentation I find online that's the pool cleaning tapes are expected to reside in for some reason.

Cleaning media should stay in Unrecognized media pool, as that prevents this tape from being accidental used by the backup job. Cheers!

What would happen if I created a new media pool not used by any tape jobs? Just to store cleaning tapes in it.
I suppose automatic cleaning jobs would stop working, correct?

If I am not mistaken it's not possible to move the cleaning tape to the custom media pool.
