I see my HP LTO Utrium-4 drive listed. But no media is listed. Just report drive empty.
Any hints on how to add media?

Yes Backup Exec - tried stopping and disabling all BE services and bootet the server. Still no media is shown.

Have you also tried to inventory a given drive after the restart? What about tape drivers that are being used? Are they ordinary-Windows ones or Symantec specific, instead? Thanks.

Stopping the services and using the Windows or HP driver instead of the symantec driver must be enough to get it working normally
