Hello,
We have an HPE Proliant server with an HPE Ultrium LTO6 drive, the OS is windows 2008 R2. We have installed the latest tape drivers, but the specific driver for this unit is apparently not signed by MS.
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"
The drive is not detected by Veeam. Should Veeam detect an tapedrive with unsigned drivers? Or could there be an other reason it's not detected?
Regards,
Bastiaan

Re: Tape driver signature
To answer my own question. We disabled driver signing in Windows, and now the tapedrive is detected.
