Would it be supported or at least working to have the different drives of a single library bound to different tape servers for performance reasons?
We tried that but it seems that only the tape server with the master drive of the library appears as having a library.
The other tape servers appear as having only single drives.
Is there a way to let VBR know the layout or is it mandatory to partition the library?
Thanks
Mike

Re: Drives from same library bound to multiple tape servers
Hello,
yes, partitioning is the only supported way.
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Drives from same library bound to multiple tape servers
And then I can still have a single - but parallelized - tape-job that streams concurrently to individual (as partitioned) libraries?
Thanks,
Mike
