Feature Request: "Exclude VM" option in Backup to Tape.

Hello all,

Would it be possible to add the option to exclude VMs from a backup to tape job. This would be great!

Lets say if you have a backup job that backs up 20 VMs and then a tape job that writes those to tape, and you want several of those VMs to be excluded.

Hi Farshid, this is architecturally not possible, because Backup to Tape copies the entire Veeam backup files, and not individual VMs. Instead, you should create backup job that only consists VMs you want going to tape. Thanks!

In addition, if you don't want to touch your production VMs twice, you can create backup copy job with the given VM being excluded and select this job as a source for file to tape job. Thanks.
