Feature Request Fileserver Archive

Hi,

we have an 2012R2 Fileserver with 15TB Data. Is there a chance to archive old data on tape ?
the fileserver or user should only see an *.lnk file - so if the file is need it would be restored from tape.
just like this software here

Create a file to tape job and specify *.lnk inclusion mask for it; should do the trick. Thanks.

Hi Eremin,

hm, thats not what i wanted. i want to create a backup job, which archive old files on an fileserver to tape (every file older than 2 years)
so the fileserver only got an *.lnk to that file and if the file is accessed - the restore will be done from tape.
