feature request - FileToTape Files Exclusions...and DFS

We have VEEAM Backup & Replication 9.5 and we are running a daily Full backup of Files to Tape. We would like to exclude certain files from the backup (ex *.log files). Similar to the
File Mask dialog, triggered by the "Edit" Button at the Files and Folder section of the backup job, but instead of specifying the files to include in the backup, it will specify the files to exclude from the backup.

We already logged a support case with VEEAM (Case # 02209354) and we have been told that this feature is not supported in version 9.5, so we are raising this issue here maybe it is considered in future release.

It's been 4.5 years since the first entry in this thread. In IT that's almost as long as in the astronomy from the Big Bang until today.
Every vote counts and remains hoping to get an exclude option for files and directories in FileToTape jobs before 2020.

We are still waiting on this feature request too. It's something almost every other solutions offers and would be great if it was in Veeam
