Feature Request: "Home"->"Jobs"->"Tape" (GFS): add context menu entry "Restart with different Media Set"
When Veeam expects the wrong media set, it requires to stop the current job and to restart it for the desired/required media set.
This causes abort-notifications to be sent (probably to multiple persons).
To prevent those notifications, it would be great to have an option to restart a running tape-job for a different media set.

Hello Uwe,
Thanks for sharing! Are you running a single tape drive library or standalone device?

Hello Dima P.,
it´s just a standalone drive - no library (unfortunately).
Best regards, Uwe

Uwe,
Thanks! To make sure we are on the same page you are fighting with the situation when backup job kicks in, but the tape in the drive belongs to another (old media set) and need to be either erased or replaced. In order to do that you have to stop the running job, is that correct?

Hello Dima P.,
One has to stop the running job (not just the session) and to restart it
using the context menu "Active Full -> (GFS Media Set - like "Yearly")".
Best regards, Uwe
yep - as far as i know, there is no other way.In order to do that you have to stop the running job, is that correct?
