Feature Request - Tape Backup

Dear Veeam-Support,

we got the issue - that if a tape-job is waiting for a tape in the middle of backing up, it disables the parallel-processing.
This is inconvenient when backing up a huge vmware-cluster, and not understandable why the veeam-software itself does decide to deactivate the parallel-processing, even though it was configured in the Tape-Job & Mediapool used.

It would be great, if this behaviour would change in future releases and give a more understandable way for backing up with tapes, because currently, the user itself does not know about the procedure behind, and is wondering why the tape-job does only use 1 tape-drive, after waiting for more tapes, even though there are several available.

Such improvements are typically mentioned in Release Notes document (issued with every product release). Otherwise, you can subscribe to this thread and request an update, once one of the next product versions is released (ones that are coming after Update 3a). Thanks.

Is there a full description of the enhancements, or just the KB-Article of the patch notes?
