Feature Request - Tape restore, date from restorepoint list

Hello,

This is a follow-up topic for Support Case ID: 02187422.


V9.5 Patch 2-
Restore from Tape is very uncomfortable in large server environments.
If you have more than 5 Servers and a lot of restore Points the overview with
restore points is completley mixed up concerning date.
A sort function would also be nice.

In older Veeam Version it works.
Please fix this.

I talk about the menue "Restore Backup from Tape to Repository".
I think so restore point selection in tape recovery wizard from Veeam.

There are different selection windows available there? If you're after selecting bunch of VMs, wouldn't it better to leverage "from vSphere infrastructure" view; it provides you with convenient VM hierarchy similar to one you can find in vSphere client? And what exactly used to work previously for this matter? Thanks.

And so on, for more than 40 servers


Example 2:
Restore - Tape - Restore Backups - Add VM - From vShere infrastructure

Yes, I can choose excactly the restore point but only for every VM individually.
Our requirement is, for testing, restoring all VMs from the latest date.
It is very laborious to use it this way.

If you select VMs directly from infrastructure view, there will be no need to set restore point for them manually. By default, the latest restore point is selected. Thanks.
