Hi Veeam Community,
i have a question about a File-to-Tape Job that i created.
It should backup the latest Files in a Folder, but instead it always backs up the intire Folder.
Full Backup is not configured and Incremental is once a Month scheduled.
The Media Pool is set to "Continue using the current Media Set".
Is there any way to achieve this behavior?

Yep, it should backup files that haven't been copied to tape mediums before. What mode you're using? Forward or reversed incremental? What retention is specified in the settings of given media pool? Thanks.

There's a chance that media pool retention period has expired and the job starts copying files that are no longer present on tape. Do you have a library or a standalone drive?

Hi,
I'm using forward incremental for a Monthly Backup that only makes Active Full Backups.
I want to export those Full Backups to Tape after the Job is finished but only the latest one.
The retention is 11 Months cause of 12 Tapes (one per Month).
I created that Job 1 Month ago so i guess it's not because of the retention period.
I have a standalone drive (LTO 5) and the Backup File (i want to export) is 1,3 TB.

Hmm, if the data of previous month is still present on tape mediums, and tape job tries to copy it second time, then, the situation looks unexpected. You'd better open a ticket with our support team and let them confirm your environment. Thanks.
