File to tape job failed to create shadow copy

Hello!

I have a File to tape backup job which contain a physical server. The job couldn't run successfully due to the following error message:
Error: Failed to create shadow copy for D: Error: Another shadow copy operation is already in progress.
Warning: Volume D: has 85 problems. Details: Problem with reading from source.

What can cause it?

Another job didn't use this physical server.

Hi Adam,

- start by checking VSS logs under Window Event Viewer
- you can always try manual shadowcopy test
