File to tape job to disc, then to tape?

Post by ashridge »

Is it possible to create a job that will full/incremental a file set (with transport agent&VSS) from a non vmfile server,to a disk repository and then archive that backup to tape every week or month (like you can with a vm)?

Many Thanks,
Ash

Though, in this case, you can put VB&R Cloud Edition into use. Not only does support VSS but also it allows you to copy only changed files. Resulting files can be later archived to tape medias.

Thanks.
