As we know file to tape backup is licensed now.
Having a big DAS repository and being used as tape server, in the past we could backup large archive files 1TB (not being backuped by Veeam) with file to tape to an existing tape server.
I am sure we are not alone in this case, while backing up 200TB would become a very cost intensive solution for just backing up files to tape
We want to partition the current tape library to use partition A for Veeam and partition B for the use case of backing up large archive files to tape with an alternative solution.
Any ideas how to solve this issue with Veeam or an alternative approach ?

Re: File to tape
Hello lowlander,
Excluding files from job processing and partitioning the library seems to be the way to do it. Thank you!
