full daily to tape not working

Hi

im trialing VBR and have 2 tapes. I created media pool with both tapes in it.
create full job with overwrite data in my jobs. but when i run the job the first tape get the full backup.

i switch the tape run it again (with changed source - added a file) and the second run only does the incremental backup.

Basically i want to get full backup each day to tape whether files changed or not. Any advice is appreciated.

EDIT: Is it because i'm rerunning the job on the same day it only does differential ?

Hello ytpcs,

If you want to create a full backup from the forever forward incremental backup chain on disk you can specify the full backup creation schedule in tape job properties. Cheers!
