How to release tape library without erasing the data

Hi,

We need to remove a tape library from one of our veeam servers. How to release them without erasing the data or making no impact to the data in the tapes.

What are the checklist do we need to take care before releasing them?

Hi wsts,

Load the all tapes to another tape library and assign this new library to the media pool via Manage Libraries control. Old library should be removed. Then delete library from the console.
