Hello,
Is it possible to share drives from a single tape labrary across different repository/tape server ?
I do not speak here about dynamic drive sharing but it could be a great feature, allowing temporary more
tape device according tape server needs.
The goal would be to share same tape mediums & pools from a single lib, different repository server
acting as tape server ?
For sample, having robotic control and drive #1 and #2 visible by Tape server #1,
and drive #3 and #4 by Tape server #2 ?
Configuring physical lib as 2 logical libraries with 2 drives each will result in 2 different
media provisioning, reducing lib usable capacity by extra free tape medium to maintain twice.
Thanks !

Re: Library drive sharing
Hello ThierryF,
No, Library should be exclusively presented to Veeam B&R.

They only way to achieve it today is via tape library partitioning: you split the devices in the library across multiple partitions and present those to different backup servers. Cheers! For sample, having robotic control and drive #1 and #2 visible by Tape server #1,
