Hi there,
Understand 9.5 update 3 provides support for LTO-8 drives.
Does that mean LTO-8 M media is supported? (LTO-7 tape media initiated by an LTO8 drive but with more capacity)
Thanks all

Hi,
I've just discussed your question with the QA team and from the technical perspective, it should work without issues. Thanks!

Re: LTO-8 Drives
Does anyone already use LTO-8 M initialized LTO-7 media?
If I get it right, the media need to be brand new and also have a separate label; the initialization is done by the tape hardware.
