Missing Nodes in Tape Infractructure

Post by Stef380 »

Hi,

i have a HP Server with an HP Tape Drive (StorageWorks Ultrium 1760 SAS).
I added the HyperV-Server as an Tape-Server in Veeam, but the Nodes for "Media Pools", "Libraries" and Tapes are not shown.

The Job "Tape library discovery" runs for a while and failed with "Host XXX is unavailable, offlining associated tape libraries" "Job has failed unexpectedly". I can run Backup und Restore-Jobs on this host (but not to/from Tape).

Can anybody help me?
Version: Backup & Replication 9.5.4.2866 on HyperV 2016 and HyperV 2019 (with Tape-Drive).

Hello Stef380,

Right click the Navigation pane and check the box near Tape node - that will make this node visible. Issues you've mentioned might be related to tape library being offline. Check that tape server is installed and tape library is connected and online (this could be done via Tape node). Cheers!
