Monthly 1st DAY of a month

Scheduler in the veeam-backup gives the possibility to choose "First" or "Last" in a month. (Good).
BIG Issue with this is that you in addition HAVE to choose the day. (Mon-Sun). (Bad).

We have to create monthly tape-backups every first day of a month.
This CAN be Mon-Sun.

The responsable employees are instructed to put in the Month-Backup-Tape on the last of a month, so that the monthyl-duplicate-job (B2D2T) can run the 1st of the following month, starting in the morning.
We had this possibility in each other backup-software we used up to now. In veeam this is missing.

When choosing "First" or "Last" your customer should have the possibility to either choose a dedicated day or just take the first (or last) day of a month.

What happens if you do the following:

- Monthly -> This day -> 1 or Last

Isn't that what you're looking for?

Exactly this is the issue!
When I choose "Monthly" I can choose "1st" BUT I have to choose a dedicated day.
And: Monday 1st of a month can be between the 1st and the 6th day of a month!
(Not every 1st day of a month is a monday...)

If you want to choose a dedicated day, then, why not to select - Monthly -> First -> Monday? In this case, a tape job will take place on the first Monday of the given month. Thanks.

I think the issue is that there should be an option to pick a day of the month. For example, I want to run my tape job on January 1st, February 1st, March 1st, etc... but that is not an option in the scheduler. I can't select Monthly -> First -> Monday because in 2016 that would be January 4th, February 1st, March 7th and so on. A really nice feature (which I believe has been requested numerous times) would be a calendar scheduler, or something similar. That way I can pick the specific dates that I want my tape jobs (or any backup job) to run.

Feature request - rename "This day" to "Day of month"

Wow. We are really glad to see it is solved. In which update did this come? And the Feature-request of mma would really help others. I also didnt think about "This day" would be what we are searching for.
