Hey guys,
actually, I'm setting up a new backup server. I have a question regarding the catalog. Is is possible to copy the catalog to the new backup server to preserve tape media information?
I do not want to perform a configuration restore because I would like to lose the old stuff.

Hi Christian
A configuration restore is the only supported way to migrate the tape catalog information to a new backup server installation.
We don't have a method to export/import the tape information directly from the database itself.
If you can't do a configuration restore, you need to catalog each tape.
