I think I'm missing something obvious here.. so I backup my hyper-v servers to a NAS and I do full backups once a week, but I also keep several sets of these on the NAS. Pretty simple stuff... but my tape is not big enough to hold ALL of the sets so how can I create a job in hyper-v to only backup/copy/move (it's really just a copy job) the LAST SET of backups (1 week worth) to the tape? is there a way?
I feel like a dumbass for not being able to figure it out, there has to be a way! I feel like backup exec in 2007 could do it

Re: Multiple sets of backups, only want to backup last set to tape, how?
Hi Martin and Welcome to Veeam R&D Forums!
You can select either to archive the latest chain only or all chains in a dialog that appears during tape job configuration, an example is described on this page (look under "Selecting Backup Chains to Archive"). You can just click "Latest" to continue.
Thanks!
