Never eject
Hi there
Is it possible to set Veeam 9.5 to never automatically eject tapes?
We have several sites, some that have no technical staff onsite several days a week and it seems that Veeam is ejecting tapes quite regularly since we upgraded from 9.0 to 9.5, is it possible to stop this?
thanks in advance
Dave

Hello Dave,
Please clarify what tape device are you using (standalone drive or tape library)? Are you referring to Veeam B&R 9.5 U4? Thank you!

Re: Never eject
Hi, Is there any update on this? I've found out that Veeam is ejecting the tape after every job and they are having to manually put the tape back in. The "Eject media upon job completion" tick box is not ticked
thanks
Dave
thanks

Dave,
Sorry for keeping silence, looks like I somehow missed your last reply. Can you please clarify if it ejects only the full tape media or any tape media? Thank you!

Re: Never eject
It seems that tapes get filled and ejected because of that. If you experience different behaviour, kindly, reach our support team for investigation. Thanks!

Re: Never eject
If I remember correctly, we've changed tape ejecting logic for standalone drives - in 9.5 we eject a tape each time it gets fully filled.
If that's not the case, then, make your customer open a support case.
Thanks!
