I will use the PowerVault LTO-6 tape library. but I do not know veeam 8 supports it.

Veeam Backup & Replication supports Linear Tape-Open tape libraries starting from 3 generation (LTO3) or later.
So your PowerVault LTO-6 will work fine. Thanks!

Just be aware to install official drivers from Dell. More specifically, non-exclusive version of it. Usage of exclusive version of drivers or drivers provided by 3-party company migth make library unusable for VB&R server. Thanks.
