Has anyone managed to use a PowerVault(TM) LTO-6-200 External Tape Drive with Veeam B&R?
We will be presenting through ESXi 6.5 to a Windows Server VM via Dell 12Gbps SAS Host Bus Adapter External Controller

Hello Phil.
Any LTO compatible device should work without an issues. That said, please keep in mind that VMware does not support Tape Drives connected directly to ESXi 5.x. It is their official limitation for but I cant find any KB article related to the latest ESXi version. There is another approach to use StarWind tape redirector as described in this post.
