Hi Guys,
i was wondering if we use Veeam to backup to a Storeonce and then to a HPE MSL library, are we safe and sound against ransomeware attacks when they hit our production environment or could the the backup on Storeonce and MSL be affected? can anyone explain what are the veam post process ransomeware detection?

Hi, Hirosh. Do you physically remove tapes from your tape library? For proper cyber attack protection, you need to use either immutable or air-gapped backup storage. Tape is a great airgapped storage, as long as it does not remain in the library, where it can be erased by a malicious actor. Thanks!
