Hello,
Veeam Editions full compare is somewhat not precise regarding real/practical differences between Veeam editions reagarding Tape Backup.
I have VMware 6.7 enviroment with 10TB+ data and want to backup it D2D2T using Dell PowerVault 1000 LTO-7 Autoloader according to GFS (Grandfather-Father-Son) backup schema.
Is the Standard edition enough for me? If not which is enough ?
thx in advance for responses.

Re: Real differences in tape backup between Veeam editions
Hello Michal,
The biggest difference is that with standard edition you get only File to Tape Jobs available, while enterprise edition adds Backup to Tape Jobs functionality which provides native integration with regular disk jobs. GFS retention based on a single tape media pool is also available in enterprise edition.
Check the full comparison here: Veeam Availability Suite 9.5: Editions Comparison. Cheers!
