Recover Backup from Tape

Hi,

I have a tape which contains veeam backup file and the retention period for those backup was over. Hence there is no media set information for those files, in tapes media pools. My question is Can i able to copy the veeam backup file (.vbk) from tape to any machine?

Yes you should be able to copy a backup file from tape to any machine of your choice, unless your tape has been overwritten/erased.

when i expand the tape contents i can see the .vbk and .vtm files, but there is no option to copy it to computer. Could you please help me to provide the steps, how do i can copy and save to computer using veeam backup or replication 8?
