Hello Ralph,

Can you provide a bit more details, describe the whole scenario, that should help to understand what can block the ability to remove the server. Thanks!

ICS,

Open the Tape infrastructure node, go down to the Servers, select the desired server and right click and choose Remove: that will remove the tape server role from the managed server. Once done it should be possible to remove the managed serve from the Veeam B&R console. Cheers!

Hello Dmitry,

yes I have removed the server from Tape Infrastructure. That works.

But, if I wont to remove the server from managed Servers, I get the error, that the server is used by tape backups.

That is true, but there is no option to remove Tape Backups!

Any chance that job in the error message is file to tape? Can you open jobs properties and make sure that server's folders are not selected as a source for this backup job? Thanks!

No, It was Backup to Tape.
The job, the library and the mediapools don´t exists anymore.
The only thing that is left is Backups -> Tape -> SL on Tape!
The server was used to make sees backups, but now I dont use the library anymore and will remove the server!

Having this same issue. Do we know of a fix?

I have opened a support case Case # 03693861 and got a basic response to remove config but I already checked that and don't have that option. Need to get this server pulled today but can't do so if it is still attached to Veeam.

In this case it might be worth escalating the ticket by clicking "Talk to manager" button. Thanks!
