Repository Backup to Tape

Hi all,
I have two backup servers (VBR 11), one virtual and one physical with a connected tape drive.
Each server has it's own repository.
I have created a "backup to tape" job on the physical machine which is running fine.
Then I have connected the repository of the virtual to the physical server in order to create a "backup to tape" job for that as well.
But when I create the job it shows 0 backups in the repository.
After investigation I have found the information "Imported backups and configuration backups will be skipped from processing." in the documentation.
The question is how to backup a "foreign" repository to tape?
I can't find any solutions for that issue, do you have any suggestions?

Hi Guido,

I believe that file to tape job might be an option, just specify the folder where backups reside.
