Hello all,
has anyone had any luck scheduling cataloging a tape drive?
If so, how did you get it working?
thanks

Re: Scheduling a catalog tape drives
Why do you need to have an schedule to catalog a tape?
This should only be needed, if veeam needs to restore data from a tape, which isn‘t in the veeam sql database.

If you need to schedule it, you could use powershell script and windows task scheduler todo that:

But i don‘t see any reason todo that

Re: Scheduling a catalog tape drives
this is an older post, but im looking for the same thing.
yes. there is never the need to catalog a tape on a different system
there is also never the need to test a backup tape (or mutliple) on a different system either....
unfortunately it seems also impossible to wait for a running tape job (of any kind) and start a catalog job thereafter
so i'll end up bruteforcing it...
