Sharing IBM 3584 with Veeam and Networker, problem
Hello,
I need to share my IBM 3584 Library between Networker and Veeam 9.5
My Veeam server it's a physicall one, and has FC card to connect to the Library
Library has 10 drives , 5 drives for each application.
I created 2 logical libraries at IBM 3584, one for Networker and the other for Veeam,
Installed "nonexclusive drivers from IBM"
Windows recognize the library and drives corretly but Weeam can't install the library
error:
Error Failed to connect to tape libraries on server Error: Changer not found (libraryId: c4d762a8-6b97-4333-8540-047a94e2ba49).
any idea?
thank you

Hi Gustavo,
Did you look at this: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95
Especially the part about creating partitions
Thanks
Mike

I've just quickly googled it, and your library seems to support logical partitioning, which means that as long as you partition the library and provide each application with its own dedicated partition, you will be in a good shape. Thanks.

Finally the issue was resolved after installing 9.5 update 2.
The partition of the library appeared.
Thank you!

Gustavo,
Thanks for coming back to us with the resolution. Just for my understanding. It didn't work pre-update 2?
