Standard, GFS and WORM questions

I am new to Configuring Media Pool for Tapes, either to do Standard, WORM or GFS.
I need someone to clear on these please.

Standard: without GFS

WORM or regular media pool types are based on the tape media you use. For instance, WORM cannot be overwritten (Write Once, Read Many), so you wont see the overwrite settings for these tapes in WORM media pools.

GFS or Standard media, however, define the retention schema for the written tapes. With standard media pool you have simple retention in days, while with GFS you can define the grandfather-father-son retention schema for your tape media.

You need to decide what media type you are going to use (WORM or regular LTO) and then what retention schema is the best for your needs (simple retention or GFS). Once you got this, you create the desired media pool type and follow the instructions of the user guide.
