Hi
We had some issues that caused a number of tape jobs to fail some of which were full backups. Is it possible to force a Full tape job to run without manually changing the day the Full would normally be taken?
Thanks

Re: Take a Full tape backup outside of the schedule
Hello Paul,
Can you please clarify if these jobs are pointed to GFS media pool or regular media pool? Thanks!

Regular media pool. We have two pools configured. One for Full and the other for Incremental

Thanks for the clarification. Tape job pointed to the regular media pool can only create synthesized full backup based on the schedule. You can test GFS tape jobs (tape jobs pointed to a GFS media pool) as they do provide the ability to create Full backup to any media set whenever its required.
